Based in Montreal and operating across North America, we have been driving more sustainable transportation for over twenty years. ### What You'll Do - Design and engineer practical mechanical and electromechanical solutions with manufacturability and end-user satisfaction and safety in mind. - Plan, execute, and document the design, build, testing, and prototyping of new and derivative products. - Work directly and successfully with a team, internal and external customers, and suppliers. ### What We're Looking For - A university degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, combined with relevant experience in projects demanding mechanical design expertise. - 5 to 10 years of experience in the design and engineering of multi-disciplinary physical products. - Proven ability to apply mechanical and manufacturing engineering fundamentals to successfully solve design challenges. - Proficient with computer aided design and engineering tools (e.g., SolidWorks, FEA, Excel, Jira). - The ability to successfully communicate ideas, visually, verbally, and in writing. - Understanding of DFMEA, DVP&R and root cause analysis methods. ### Assets - Automotive background - Aerodynamics experience - HVAC experience - Student design team experience - Hands-on fabrication or repair ### Why Join Transtex? - Group extended healthcare and dental plan - Employer matched RRSP contributions - Flexible hours and hybrid work - On-site equipped gym - EV charging stations on site
