Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Intern Job ID: 41331 Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off Job Location: Greenville, TX Co op terms: June 2027- December 2027 Job Description: We are seeking a spring intern to begin working full-time onsite from June 2027 to December 2027 in Greenville, TX. Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECO’s) as required Qualifications: Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field. Preferred Additional Skills: CAD or analysis (FEA) tools exposure, and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures and mechanisms Must be able to apply the principles of Structural Mechanics to predict internal stresses and structural instabilities Familiarity with finite element methods and fatigue
