Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Aureol Global Connections seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to support ongoing Water/Wastewater maintenance and installation activities across the region.Role OverviewThe Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will perform installation, repair, upgrades, and maintenance of mechanical systems within Water/Wastewater facilities. The role requires on-site mechanical work, customer support, and compliance with safety procedures.Key Responsibilities· Perform assembly and mechanical installation for water/wastewater plants.· Maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, and drive systems.· Conduct system repairs, upgrades, and refurbishment.· Install pumps and complete inspections and maintenance work.· Work with pipework (PVC, DI, stainless steel).· Support service and spare sales with technical input.· Ensure compliance with RAMS, SSOW, and HSQE standards.· Complete daily reports and documentation.· Identify and propose improvements to systems and processes.Requirements· Qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.· Water/Wastewater industry experience preferred.· Experience with pumps, motors, drive systems essential.· Chemical handling experience an advantage.· Strong IT skills for reporting.· Ability to work independently and make on-site decisions.· Full clean driving licence.Benefits· Company vehicle· Laptop· Pension scheme
