Today, BVM publishes over 1,300 local magazines and reaches billions of digital impressions across North America, helping thousands of local business owners grow. **What You’ll Do** This is a field-based, in-person sales role. You’ll build your own book of business in your local territory, on a schedule you control, selling advertising placements across BVM’s local print magazine and companion digital, social, and website products. - **Consult:** Meet face-to-face with standout local business owners to showcase what makes their community great. - **Strategize:** Build powerful, multi-channel branding programs using our media suite, print, digital, social, websites, and reputation management. - **Scale:** Leverage our proven training and time-tested sales system to grow your own book of business, building community engagement that pays you and your community for years to come. **What You’ll Earn** This is a 1099 independent contractor role with no base salary or draw (full commission). Representatives earn a recurring commission on sales, with commission rates generally ranging from **70-80%** based on monthly sales volume and performance relative to the baseline\* cost structure. Bonuses are available during start-up and on an ongoing basis. \*Baseline is the back-end cost associated with the magazine & digital product’s cost to produce, distribute, bill clients, etc, and does not come out of the representative’s pocket. **What You Bring** - **Sales Acumen:** A drive to help local businesses grow through the art of advertising sales, strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
