*This is a Work Experience (work-based training) position available through Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined. Job Title: Medical Assistant Position Type FT/PT, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday Location: Corpus Christi Second Chance Employer- No Pay Rate $10.00-$12.00/Hr Age: 18+ Training: HS Diploma/GED Recruiter: M. Castanon interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height. Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies. Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records. Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
