Blackridge Fleet Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Fleet Maintenance & Service Repair Technician to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing commercial fleet vehicles and specialty equipment while demonstrating our core values of respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork. If you enjoy working on medium-duty trucks, hydraulic systems, lift gates, cranes, and specialty fleet equipment — and take pride in delivering precise, high-quality work — we want to meet you. --- What You’ll Bring: · 3+ years of fleet, medium/heavy-duty truck, or commercial equipment repair experience preferred ·Tools Required ·CDL highly preferred · Self-managed, self-starter and problem solver · Experience with cab & fleet repair, service bodies, and vocational truck systems · Working knowledge of hydraulic systems, lift gates, cranes, hoists, and PTO systems · Familiarity with electrical diagnostics, wiring, and auxiliary equipment installation · Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred · Ability to read and interpret schematics, repair manuals, and service bulletins · Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills · Ability to safely operate shop equipment and power tools · Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs · Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record · Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. · High School Diploma or equivalent --- What You’ll Be Doing: · Perform maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles including cab & chassis trucks and specialty upfit equipment · Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, lift gates, cranes, hoists, and related components · Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including lighting, control modules, PTO wiring, and auxiliary systems · Conduct preventative maintenance services on commercial fleet vehicles · Complete multi-point inspections and document findings accurately · Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly with service advisors and supervisors · Ensure all repairs meet company, state, federal, and manufacturer safety standards · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment · Assist with installation and service of truck-mounted equipment as needed · Support team members and help train less experienced technicians when appropriate --- Why You’ll Love Working Here: · Competitive compensation based on experience · Paid Time Off and 401(k) with company match · Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, AD&D, and Life Insurance · Wellness Time Off plus paid holidays and a Personal Purpose Day · Tool Program · Red Wing Boot Program (annual replacement) · Employee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts, and service · Year-end bonus program for all employees · Growth and advancement opportunities within the organization · A team-oriented culture that values craftsmanship and accountability
