About the role: This is a senior leadership role responsible for building and scaling our Mircrosoft Application Evolution Services (AES) offering in the UK. You will lead the full lifecycle of large, complex managed services opportunities – from demand generation and origination through to solution design and oversight of delivery. AES is a managed services offering that goes far beyond traditional application support and management. AES provides post go-live support across major technology platforms where PwC is the Advisory and Transformation partner, its true value lies in its commitment to the continuous evolution and optimization of client solutions. Rather than simply keeping the lights on, AES ensures clients extract maximum value from their technology deployments by continually understanding and implementing new technology releases, platform functionality, and emerging AI use cases - turning a one-time transformation into an ongoing journey of innovation and improvement. This approach is underpinned by a suite of enabling capabilities including AI Enablement, Automated Testing, Solution Evolution Experts, and ISO 20000-1 Certification. Covering the full software lifecycle - from design and build through to run and evolve - AES keeps clients at the forefront of best practice and technological advancement, driving meaningful business outcomes well beyond the initial go-live. As the market lead for Microsoft AES, you will work closely with advisory and transformation teams, sector leaders and alliance partners to embed AES into major Microsoft transformation programmes from inception. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional client outcomes while growing long-term annuity revenue, improving win rates and ensuring scalable delivery models that balance innovation with operational discipline. You will act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, shaping commercially viable, AI-enabled managed services solutions that maximise value from their Microsoft investments across Dynamics 365 (F&O and CE), Azure and related cloud platforms. What your days will look like: Lead origination and qualification of large, complex Microsoft AES opportunities Design end-to-end Microsoft AES solutions aligned to client business outcomes Embed AES into transformation programmes at pre-sales stage to improve win rates Own Microsoft AES sales targets and pipeline development Develop scalable, cost-effective global delivery models leveraging automation and AI Act as senior client adviser during pursuits and early delivery phases Strengthen alliance-led go-to-market activity with Microsoft Ensure effective transition from sales to delivery, protecting quality, margin and client outcomes This role is for you if: Experience originating and securing complex AES, managed services or transformation deals Deep expertise across Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations and Customer Engagement), Azure or related Microsoft platforms, with strong AES/managed services solution design experience Experience leading RFP/RFI responses and commercial structuring of large-scale services Ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders, including C-suite Experience building pipeline through alliance and sector-led go-to-market activity Experience designing global delivery models that balance cost, quality and scalability Strong commercial acumen with accountability for sales and revenue growth Experience working within large, matrixed professional services or technology organisations What you’ll receive from us: No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.
