Job Brief
Neurocom S.A. is currently looking for a
Mid-Level
Oracle Database Developer
to join the team behind — a cloud-native Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform that helps companies simplify and automate sales incentives.
Our latest product, Motiwai, is a modern sales commission and performance tracking platform, currently in active development and deployment.
You will join the team responsible for maintaining and evolving our Oracle-based commission platform — a mission-critical system running live at customer sites across multiple countries.
At this level, you are expected to work independently. You have solid experience with Oracle, can take a requirement and translate it into a robust and performant database solution, and feel comfortable owning parts of the codebase. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders, contribute to architecture discussions, and help raise the bar for code quality and performance.
Main Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code to support application functionality and performance
Write efficient, reliable, and well-documented stored procedures, functions, and triggers
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query optimization and schema design improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement database features end-to-end
Provide technical support for client-facing issues related to database behavior and performance
Contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high quality standards
Share knowledge with junior team members and support their professional growth
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development using SQL and PL/SQL
Solid understanding of both logical and physical database design
Proven experience in performance tuning and query optimization
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Military obligations fulfilled, if applicable
Desirable Knowledge
Linux scripting experience for database automation tasks
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Previous experience in the telecommunications industry
