Mid-level Software Engineer (Java)

**About the company** At Nuitée, we are building the API backbone for the global travel industry. Founded in 2017, Nuitée is on a mission to transform a fragmented travel ecosystem with simple, scalable, and API-first infrastructure—think “Stripe for Travel.” By enabling seamless connectivity between hotels, OTAs, fintechs, super-apps, and businesses, some of which are entering the travel market for the first time, Nuitée empowers companies to deliver reliable travel products effortlessly. Our robust platform simplifies complex supplier networks, offering direct access to hotel inventory with better pricing, coverage, and technology. With teams across the globe, including hubs in London, New York, San Francisco, Palma de Mallorca and Casablanca, Nuitée has grown into a global infrastructure provider trusted by industry leaders like Hopper, Priceline, Google, and Uber. Now backed by leading VCs and world-class investors including leaders from [](http://booking.com/), Stripe, and Shopify, Nuitée is positioned to redefine the B2B travel market, streamline operations for hotels, and enable new applications through cutting-edge APIs. Nuitée is at the forefront of a revolution—delivering AI-powered, smarter, and more personalized travel experiences for a new era. **About the role** *On-site in Casablanca* **Write Java code that runs in production and is used by global brands within your first weeks.** How many engineers early in their career get to say that? Here, it's how you start. You'll join a small team building Nuitee's own product, and the code you write goes live, gets used, and keeps growing with the platform. Nuitee is a travel tech company. We build the technology that lets other companies sell hotel rooms in their own apps and websites, from finding the room to confirming the booking and paying the hotel. ### What makes it interesting for you - **A real product company.** You build and improve one product and get to know it deeply. - **A team that works well together.** The engineers are autonomous, trust each other, and have a lead who's flexible and protects their time. You'll learn from people who know the platform well and are happy to help you get there too. - **Fast learning.** Every project teaches you more about how the platform works, and you take on bigger parts of it as you grow. - **Room to grow.** There's a clear level structure, and engineers on the team move from their first projects into wider ownership. Nuitee has grown 10x since 2022, has been profitable since day one, and raised a $48M Series A led by Accel. That means stability and a steady flow of new work to build. ### The kind of problems you'll work on Most of the job is solving puzzles, and you'll learn the domain by building it. - Booking a hotel looks simple from the outside. Behind it, dates, guests, prices, and cancellation rules all interact in ways that rarely fit together neatly. How do you make sense of it and turn it into code that works - Every hotel supplier has its own system, its own logic, and its own surprises. How do you figure out each one and connect it to our platform? - How do you build each new connection faster and more cleanly than the last? ### This role fits if you - Have around 2 years of professional experience with Java. - Have worked with Spring Boot to build backend services. - Enjoy understanding how other systems work and getting the details right. - Communicate clearly and feel comfortable asking questions and sharing your opinion. - Live in Casablanca, or are ready to be in the Casablanca office. You'll have room to own your work from start to finish, dig into problems when the answer isn't obvious, and make decisions without waiting for someone to tell you what to do. If that's how you like to work, we'd love to hear from you. **Why Nuitee?** At Nuitée, we’re not just reimagining travel—we’re building the infrastructure to power it. - Massive Market Opportunity: We are tackling the $9.9tn travel industry, starting with the $75 billion B2B hotel market, a fragmented space filled with outdated systems, gatekeepers, and inefficiencies.
