Mobile Product Manager / Product Owner

Job description

About Us Flying Bisons is a leading Strategic Design & Digital Consulting company based in Warsaw, with projects across Europe and the Middle East. Our mission is to help our clients Unleash Digital Potential™ . We work at scales where real impact happens: enterprise platforms, government services, and corporate ecosystems used by millions of people. Our projects include national workforce platforms (Qiwa, Ajeer), education ecosystems (Madares), major banks (Bank Pekao, Alinma), global telecoms (Ooredoo, Salam), and international brands (KFC, Hebe, NaTemat, Enel-Med). Our uniqueness comes from going beyond design craft. As we wrote in our manifestos - Strategic Design - Manifest and Strategic Design - The Future of Design - design craft is only 10% of success . The other 90% - the Invisible 90% - is about navigating politics, aligning stakeholders, and protecting fragile visions until they reach reality. That’s why we’re building the discipline of Strategic Design - and we want you to be part of it. About the Project and Scope of Collaboration You will be involved in building and launching a new mobile application for a client operating in the food industry. The role combines mobile product management, business understanding, coordination, and close cooperation with the client and the team building the application. During the first approximately 12 months, you will cooperate with Flying Bisons while gradually building deep knowledge of the client's business, industry, customers, processes, and product. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including direct cooperation with the business owner, and become the person connecting the business context with day-to-day product decisions. The long-term plan is for you to transition directly to the client's organization after the initial collaboration period and continue owning and developing the mobile product from within the business. This is a strong fit for someone who combines hands-on mobile product experience, analytical thinking, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to quickly understand a new business domain. Working directly with key stakeholders and the business owner. Defining and prioritizing features, user journeys, requirements, and acceptance criteria. Using product data, business insights, and user feedback to support product decisions. Identifying dependencies, risks, and open questions that may affect product development. Supporting the product launch and its further development based on real user and business needs. Gradually taking increasing ownership of the mobile product and its business context. Preparing for long-term ownership and development of the application within the client's organization. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who has: At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or in a comparable digital product role. Proven experience in managing and developing mobile applications. This is a must-have for this role. Experience working on a mobile product through at least several stages of its lifecycle, ideally including development, launch, and further growth. A strong understanding of mobile user journeys, usability, engagement, retention, conversion, and product analytics. Experience working closely with UX/UI designers and mobile development teams. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data and business context when making product decisions. The ability to understand business needs and translate them into concrete product actions. The ability to quickly understand a new business domain and build strong domain knowledge. Independence, ownership, strong self-organization, and a proactive approach. Very good Polish and good English. Availability for regular onsite cooperation in Warsaw. Openness to transitioning to a long-term role directly within the client's organization after approximately 12 months. A clear long-term perspective, with the planned transition to the client's organization after the initial collaboration period. The opportunity to participate in building a new mobile application and then continue developing it over the longer term. The opportunity to become deeply involved in the business and gradually take ownership of a key digital product. Direct cooperation with decision-makers on the client side. Close cooperation with experienced specialists from product, design, technology, research, and analytics. A role with real influence on both the initial development and long-term direction of the product. Hybrid cooperation in Warsaw, with approximately 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.
