Job Purpose and Impact The New Channel Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing assigned modern retail and food processor accounts through effective account management, customer relationship development, and execution of sales initiatives. This role serves as the primary point of contact for designated customers, ensuring achievement of sales targets, timely resolution of concerns, and identification of growth opportunities. The Sales Representative will support the NC Sales Manager by handling day-to-day account management activities across small and medium-sized customers, allowing greater focus on strategic initiatives, business expansion, and key account development Key Accountabilities Manage assigned modern retail and food processor accounts to achieve sales, distribution, and profitability targets. Maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers, store operations teams, and other customer stakeholders. Conduct regular business reviews and customer visits to identify opportunities and address business concerns. Ensure timely submission and execution of purchase orders, promotions, new product listings, and customer requirements. Monitor inventory levels, sell-through performance, and replenishment activities to minimize out-of-stock situations. Coordinate with internal teams including supply chain, customer service, finance, and merchandising to support customer needs. Track customer performance, sales trends, competitive activities, and market developments, providing recommendations to management. Support negotiations for promotional activities and account-specific programs within approved company guidelines. Resolve routine customer concerns and escalate significant business issues when necessary. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, account updates, and other business documentation required by management. Assist in onboarding new customers and supporting business development initiatives as required. Ensure compliance with company policies, customer agreements, and trade program requirements. Perform other duties related to account management and sales operations as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
