JOB DESCRIPTION Purpose This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe facility/warehouse environment, adhering to established procedures and Preferred Work Methods (PWM). Responsibilities Clean and sanitize spills of product, debris, or other foreign matter promptly and effectively. Clean and sanitize warehouse surfaces, including floors, walls, racking, doors, and other structural elements. Operate cleaning equipment, including power scrubbers, sweepers, walk-behind scrubbers, and other warehouse cleaning machinery, in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of facility buildings, grounds, lighting fixtures, parking lots, and other exterior areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, and other common areas. Follow the daily sanitation schedule as assigned by the supervisor to ensure a consistent and effective sanitation maintenance program. Maintain the warehouse in a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Properly dispose of waste and recyclables according to established procedures. Skills Equipment Operation: Ability to safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment such as power scrubbers, sweepers, and other industrial cleaning machinery. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods. Safety Consciousness: Awareness of safety hazards and the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures. Attention to Detail: Ability to thoroughly clean and sanitize areas, ensuring no areas are missed. Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks within established schedules. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members. Ability to Follow Instructions: Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Certifications Education High school diploma or GED Experience 0-2+ years of experience Physical Demands Reasonable accommodations will be taken where necessary Required to work in extreme enviornments (Freezer 0 to -10 degrees up to Dry Ambient conditions, & Outdoors) Travel Requirements 0-25%
