NPI Logistic Buyer

Do you want to play a key role within our supply chain ? As an NPI Logistic Buyer , you ensure that our engineering and production teams have timely access to the right materials for prototypes and new product introductions . You are involved in new projects from an early stage and work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to help bring them to a successful outcome. Your responsibilities: • You determine purchasing quantities based on demand, agreements with international suppliers and internal inventory guidelines. • You work closely with engineering, planning, warehouse and suppliers to align material requirements in a timely manner. • You build sustainable relationships with suppliers and engage them early in new projects to reduce risks and mitigate potential issues. • Based on the production planning, you place purchase orders and proactively follow up on orders and deliveries to ensure the timely availability of materials. • In case of deviations (late deliveries, delayed confirmations, overdue deliveries, missing documents, payment issues, etc.), you act as a representative of the company and work together with suppliers to find solutions. • You ensure the timely resolution of damaged goods and quality issues in collaboration with suppliers. • You communicate design changes to suppliers and assess their impact on ongoing orders. • You maintain an overview of multiple projects and stakeholders and independently set the right priorities. • You are responsible for maintaining supplier master data in the ERP system, including quotations, lead times and country of origin. Your profile: • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree (eg. Supply Chain Management or a related field) and have at least 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain or supplier management. • Affinity with or interest in technology (e.g. mechanics, electronics, manufacturing, ...) is a plus. • You are a strong and assertive communicator who builds lasting relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You take ownership of supplier follow-up, proactively challenge deviations and work with suppliers to ensure commitments regarding delivery, quality and project timelines are met. • You work proactively , take initiative and drive actions forward. You identify risks early, involve the right stakeholders and ensure issues are addressed before they impact project milestones. • You are comfortable engaging with suppliers, organising discussions when needed and escalating risks where appropriate, while maintaining constructive long-term relationships. • You can work independently and set priorities in an environment where multiple projects run simultaneously. • You enjoy collaborating across different departments and understand how supplier performance impacts planning, quality, inventory, production and NPI project milestones. • You deal effectively with unforeseen circumstances and see challenges as opportunities to find solutions. • Experience with an ERP system is a strong asset. • You have an excellent command of Dutch and can also communicate fluently in English. • You identify with our company values: Customer Focus, Teamwork, Trust & Respect, Ethical Behavior.
