This is an ad hoc role on a staff/employed basis. You will be supporting projects offshore mainly in the North Sea. Responsibilities include operating crane for installation and vessel lifts within the crane design envelope, taking into consideration weather, sea states and current load. You will carry out and assist with first line maintenance and ensure clear communication with deck crew and vessel crew. Other main responsibilities include:Complete pre-use checklists before commencing each shiftCompliance with clients safe systems of workEnsure good housekeeping within Crane Cabin and machineryUndertake Emergency Response Activities as requiredEnsure all incidents and near misses are reported to EnerMech and the Installation Management immediatelyEnsure a safe and comprehensive shift handover is conducted and recordedThe RequirementsIt is essential that you hold a stage 3 Crane Operator certificate. You will be time served and hold a relevant professional qualification. You must also have offshore experience and hold the relevant offshore certifications.
