Job Description We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Mechanical Material Coordinator to join our team in Guyana at the Oko West Mine Site. Coordinate the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of mechanical equipment, materials, and spare parts to support construction and commissioning activities at the Oko West Mine Site. Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of mechanical materials, ensuring timely availability and traceability in accordance with project requirements. Liaise with procurement, warehouse, construction, and mechanical teams to expedite material deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and minimize project delays. Verify that mechanical materials comply with technical specifications, purchase orders, and quality requirements, maintaining complete documentation and material tracking records. Requirements Minimum education : Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics and/or relevant experience in the construction mining industry. Relevant experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical material coordination, warehousing, or logistics for gold mining construction projects. Additional skills : Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and materials; proficiency with inventory management and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent); excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical documentation and material specifications. Salary Rang e: Negotiable. Employment Type : Temporary contract for the duration of the construction. Working Hours : Rotation schedule: 23 of work followed by 19 days off.
