Open Application, Exceptional Talent

Job description

# **Why Join Ivo?** Contracts are the oldest business technology in human history. They allow us to collaborate: they define what we promise each other, how we work together, and what happens when things go wrong. Ivo builds AI products that helps companies like Meta, Uber, IBM, Intel, DoorDash, Mitsubishi Electric, and Coinbase solve their most difficult contracting problems. We think that large language models have created an opportunity to fundamentally change how businesses collaborate with each other. At Ivo you will work on challenging problems with colleagues who have high standards for each other, move fast, and care deeply about their craft. ## Don’t See a Role That Fits? Ivo is growing, and we’re always looking for exceptional people. Even if you don’t see a role that matches your experience today, we may be developing a position that’s the right fit for you. For truly exceptional talent, we’re also open to exploring opportunities beyond our current openings. We believe exceptional people build exceptional companies. At Ivo, we’re deliberate about the people we bring onto our team because the bar we set for talent determines what we can achieve. We’re looking for people who combine intellectual with relentless drive and resourcefulness. We bring people on who are able to grasp complex problems quickly, think critically, exercise sound judgment, and see possibilities others miss. They take ownership without waiting for direction, move with urgency, and find a way forward when there’s no playbook. They hold themselves to a high standard, push beyond what’s expected, and care as much about the quality of their work as the impact it creates. We operate with high autonomy, high expectations, and an unusually high bar for execution. The problems are hard, the pace is demanding, and the answers aren’t always obvious. We expect people to bring resourcefulness, resilience, and the tenacity to work through challenges rather than wait for someone else to solve them. We want people who are energized by difficult problems, challenged by exceptionally capable teammates, and motivated by the opportunity to do work that matters. We also believe the best people will use AI to raise the ceiling on what they can accomplish. We want people who rethink how work gets done, eliminate unnecessary busywork, and use AI to create more room for deeper thinking, better decisions, and higher-impact work. But the tools are only as valuable as the person using them. Good judgment, original thinking, clear communication, and an uncompromising standard of quality remain essential. We’re interested in what you can accomplish with these tools, not simply whether you use them. In return, you’ll have meaningful ownership, exceptional colleagues, and the opportunity to help shape a company at a pivotal stage of its growth. You’ll tackle problems that stretch your capabilities, have a direct influence on outcomes, and work alongside people who will challenge you to become better. Your impact will be defined by what you contribute, not simply by the boundaries of your job description. This environment isn’t for everyone, and that’s intentional. We’re looking for people who want to be challenged, take pride in doing difficult things exceptionally well, and are willing to put in the work to achieve something meaningful. If that sounds like the kind of environment in which you’d thrive, we’d like to hear from you. ## How To Apply Submit one thing that best demonstrates how you operate: • Build something: Show us something you created from scratch.. • Solve something: Walk us through a difficult problem you figured out.. • Improve something: Show us how you made an existing process, product, or idea meaningfully better.. • Figure something out: Share something you taught yourself or explored beyond what was expected of you.. Include a brief explanation of what you did, what made it challenging, and what the result was. **FAQ** - *What stage of growth is Ivo at?:* We recently raised our Series B after growing 6x in 12 months. - *Is this a chill gig?:* Startups are very hard, especially if they’re growing fast.
