This center provides **Orthopedics, ENT, Plastics and Urology** surgeries (2OR) and procedures (2PR). Team members benefit from a culture that values collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement—creating an environment where both patients and staff thrive. **Role Summary:** The Operating Room RN provides direct patient care and serves as a patient advocate in the operating room. This role supports surgeons and anesthesia providers, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the perioperative process. **Hours:** - Monday–Friday schedule - No nights, weekends, holidays, or call **What You’ll Do:** - Serve as circulating nurse, supporting patients, surgeons, and anesthesia staff during procedures - Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient operating environment - Accurately assess patient needs, provide reassurance, and involve families in care decisions when appropriate - Collaborate with the surgical team and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues - Support patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives - Participate in staff education, orientation, and professional development - Organize and manage supplies, equipment, and staff for effective case management **What You’ll Bring:** - Active RN license - Current BLS and ACLS certification - Associate’s degree or higher in nursing - Perioperative nursing experience preferred - Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-advocacy skills **Physical & Work Environment Requirements:** - Frequent standing, walking, and lifting - Occasional stooping, kneeling, or climbing - Regular interaction with patients of all ages in a fast-paced surgical environment - Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs) and meet physical demands of the role **Compensation & Benefits:** - Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications) - Healthcare benefits package - 401(k) with company match - Paid Time Off (PTO) - Supportive, collaborative, and growing environment
