Organic Growth Lead

**TransferGo** is a growing fintech scale-up on a mission to champion financial freedom with care. We strive to provide tailored, more affordable financial services that make people's hard-earned money go further. Now in our 14th year, with close to 400 employees in offices across Europe and the UK, we’re crafting a brilliant, relevant product that makes a difference in people's lives and the well-being of their families. We’ve come this far by building a talented, diverse workforce on a fair culture and our strong values. Having this strong team of employees, we can serve those who really need our product to make their lives better. We are looking for someone to own how TransferGo is discovered across search engines, AI-powered platforms and our website. This is broader than a traditional SEO role. You will lead technical and international SEO, content discoverability, Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and our website growth roadmap. Your goal will be to turn search demand and emerging forms of AI discovery into measurable customer acquisition. You will own organic discovery across search engines, AI assistants and the website. Your primary contribution will be growing the share of new customers acquired through non-paid channels. This supports the Director’s incremental activation goal and the three measures used to evaluate the Growth & Marketing function: monthly active customers, six-month customer value relative to acquisition cost, and the share of acquisition generated through non-paid channels. **Here’s what you’ll be doing as Organic Growth Lead:** **Search and organic growth** Set and deliver TransferGo’s global organic search strategy. You will lead technical SEO across crawling, indexing, JavaScript rendering, site architecture, internal linking, structured data and Core Web Vitals. You will also lead international SEO across our priority countries, languages and send-and-receive routes, including localisation and hreflang at scale. You will build and manage a prioritised organic growth roadmap with Product, Engineering, Content and Marketing. You will identify opportunities based on customer needs, search demand and commercial priorities, protect organic performance during releases, migrations and structural changes, and strengthen our authority through digital PR, partnerships and link building. **AI visibility, AEO and GEO** Define how TransferGo appears across AI-powered discovery platforms, including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. You will improve how these platforms understand, represent and reference TransferGo. That includes developing content and structured-data approaches that increase our chances of being surfaced and cited, while strengthening our topical authority, brand entities and trust signals across the web. You will monitor AI visibility, brand mentions, citations, accuracy and competitive presence, and work with Brand, Communications, Product Marketing and Compliance to make sure information about TransferGo is accurate, consistent and trustworthy. This space is evolving quickly, so you will test new approaches, measure their impact and turn what works into repeatable practice. **Website growth** Own the commercial performance and growth roadmap of TransferGo’s marketing website. You will improve customer journeys, landing pages and conversion paths across priority countries and customer segments. Using customer insight, analytics and experimentation, you will identify and remove conversion barriers and build scalable landing-page and content frameworks that support acquisition campaigns, product launches and expansion into new countries. You will partner with Product, Design, Engineering and Compliance to deliver improvements while keeping website content accurate, compliant, localised and consistent with the TransferGo brand. You will balance long-term platform development against the need to launch, learn and improve quickly. **Measurement and influence** Define how we measure organic visibility, AI visibility, qualified traffic, conversion and commercial impact. You will build reporting that connects search, AI visibility and website performance to business outcomes rather than activity metrics. You will own the relevant analytics, SEO and AI-monitoring tools and manage agencies, freelancers and technology partners where needed. You will turn data into clear priorities and investment cases, and help teams across the business understand how customer discovery is changing. **What success looks like** - Sustainable growth in qualified organic traffic and, more importantly, in the number of new customers acquired through it. - Stronger organic visibility across our priority countries and the send-and-receive routes that matter commercially. - A stronger and more accurate presence across AI-powered search and answer platforms, measured rather than assumed. - Higher website conversion and a clear, measurable contribution to customer acquisition. - A healthy technical foundation, with fewer critical issues and faster resolution when they arise. - Faster delivery of effective landing pages and localised content, using scalable frameworks rather than starting from scratch each time. - Reporting that leadership trusts and uses to make investment decisions. You’ll report to our Director of BRand Marketing & Demand. **Here’s what we’d love from our new Organic Growth Lead:** - Strong experience in SEO, organic growth or web-led customer acquisition, with commercial results you can demonstrate. - Deep technical SEO knowledge, including crawling, indexing, JavaScript rendering, site architecture, structured data and Core Web Vitals. - Experience leading international and multilingual SEO across several countries. - A strong understanding of content strategy, keyword and intent research, internal linking and authority building. - Practical knowledge of AEO and GEO, including how AI-powered platforms discover, assess and cite information. - Experience owning or significantly influencing a commercial website and its roadmap, including conversion optimisation and experimentation. - Strong analytical skills, and a track record of connecting search and website performance to acquisition, revenue or another business outcome. - Experience working effectively with developers, designers, analysts, writers, product teams and commercial stakeholders. - The confidence to prioritise competing demands and turn strategy into delivery. **And if you can also do this stuff, even better:** - Hands-on experience measuring brand visibility across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or similar platforms. - Experience in fintech, financial services, marketplaces or international consumer products. - Experience working with Compliance in a regulated environment. **About you** You combine deep organic search expertise with commercial thinking and a willingness to get hands-on. You are curious about how customer discovery is changing and you understand that search now extends well beyond traditional rankings. You move comfortably between technical SEO, content, AI visibility, website experience and commercial performance. You are structured enough to build a long-term roadmap, pragmatic enough to act when an opportunity appears, and influential enough to bring several teams around a shared growth goal. ### **What we believe** **At TransferGo**, we offer competitive rewards to all people.
