Job description
š Orthodontist ā $1,500/Day + $100 Per Start Reno, Nevada | Travel 1ā2 Days/Week or Relocate | Growing Orthodontic Program | Partial Relocation Assistance Live in Northern California? You Don't Have to Move. Ready for Reno? We'll Help With the Relocation. Are you an Orthodontist looking for immediate patient demand, a built-in pediatric referral network, and the flexibility to either travel into Reno 1ā2 days per week or make Northern Nevada your long-term home? Our confidential, 100% dentist-owned private dental group is seeking an Orthodontist to join a rapidly growing orthodontic program in Reno, Nevada . We're intentionally keeping this opportunity flexible. There are two ways to join us: Option 1: Travel to Reno 1ā2 Days Per Week Maintain your existing home and professional base in Northern California or another nearby market while traveling to Reno for concentrated orthodontic clinical days. Option 2: Relocate to Reno Move to Northern Nevada, receive partial relocation assistance , and grow with the practice as we expand the orthodontic schedule toward approximately 4+ clinical days per week . Either way, you'll step into an established dental organization with a growing pediatric referral engine, guaranteed daily compensation, incentives for new starts, and significant long-term runway. š° Confirmed Compensation $1,500 Per Clinical Day + $100 Per New Orthodontic Start $1,500 guaranteed per clinical day Plus $100 for every new orthodontic start 1099 Independent Contractor relationship Existing internal referral network Growing Pediatric Dentistry program General Dentistry referral support Significant opportunity to expand clinical days Partial relocation assistance available for candidates moving to Reno You'll earn immediately while helping develop what leadership believes can become one of the strongest integrated pediatric and orthodontic programs in Northern Nevada. š Option 1: Keep Your Home Base ā Travel to Reno For Orthodontists based in Sacramento, Northern California, Lake Tahoe, or other nearby Western markets , this opportunity does not necessarily require relocation. You can maintain your existing residence and professional commitments while traveling to Reno approximately: 1ā2 Clinical Days Per Week The practice will work to build and coordinate the schedule around your clinical availability so your time in Reno is productive. This model is ideal for an Orthodontist who: Already practices elsewhere several days per week Wants to add another high-value clinical market Lives within reasonable travel distance of Reno Does not want to relocate immediately Wants to evaluate the Reno market before considering a future move Is looking for consistent supplemental specialty days Rather than building another practice or referral network from scratch, you'll step into an established organization with patients, systems, treatment coordination, and internal referrals already in place. š” Option 2: Relocate to Reno and Grow With Us For an Orthodontist ready to make Northern Nevada home, this opportunity has considerably more long-term runway. Partial Relocation Assistance Is Available We're actively encouraging qualified Orthodontists from outside Nevada to explore relocating to Reno. The long-term vision is to continue expanding the orthodontic program alongside the organization's growing pediatric patient base. For a relocating Orthodontist, the opportunity may grow toward approximately: 4+ Clinical Days Per Week as patient demand and the pediatric program continue to expand. We're not simply recruiting someone to fill an existing schedule. We're looking for the right doctor to help build the orthodontic platform for the region. š A Growing Orthodontic Program ā Not a Static Part-Time Job Our strategy is straightforward: As Pediatric Dentistry grows, Orthodontics grows with it. The organization is building an increasingly integrated pediatric and orthodontic model that creates a natural pipeline of: Orthodontic screenings Early orthodontic intervention Comprehensive orthodontic consultations New starts Sibling referrals Family referrals Long-term patient relationships That patient flow is supplemented by the organization's General Dentistry network. Instead of asking an Orthodontist to enter Reno and develop referral relationships one practice at a time, we're building the patient infrastructure around the specialty program internally. š Regional Growth Opportunities In addition to the primary Reno program, there is opportunity to support additional locations as demand develops. Potential regional opportunities include: Core Reno orthodontic schedule Approximately 2 satellite days per month in South Reno Potential future 1ā2 days per month in the South Lake Tahoe market Additional specialty days as the pediatric and general dentistry networks continue to expand For the right Orthodontist, there is substantial room to grow. š§š¦· Built Around a Pediatric Referral Engine One of the biggest advantages of this opportunity is the source of your future orthodontic patients. The organization is actively expanding Pediatric Dentistry in Reno, creating an increasingly strong internal pipeline for orthodontic treatment. You'll benefit from: Established pediatric patient relationships Internal orthodontic screenings Direct collaboration with Pediatric Dentists General Dentist referrals Treatment coordination support Existing patient communication systems Families already receiving care within the organization The goal is simple: Give the Orthodontist the patient base and infrastructure necessary to focus on diagnosis, treatment planning, case acceptance, and excellent clinical care. š¤ 100% Dentist-Owned. Dentist-Led. Our organization is 100% dentist-owned . That means: No private equity ownership No outside investors controlling clinical decisions Provider-focused leadership Clinical autonomy Collaborative decision-making Long-term commitment to patients and doctors An organization willing to invest in specialty growth We want our Orthodontist to become an important part of the organization's long-term future. 𦷠Modern, Supported Clinical Environment You'll step into an established dental platform with: Experienced clinical support Digital workflows Established scheduling systems Treatment coordination Pediatric Dentistry referrals General Dentistry referrals Administrative infrastructure Patient communication systems Leadership actively investing in specialty growth You focus on the patients and orthodontics. We'll focus on helping build the schedule around you. š Why Reno? Reno offers a compelling combination of professional opportunity, accessibility, and quality of life . Northern Nevada continues to grow, while the specialty market offers opportunities that can be difficult to find in more saturated Western metropolitan areas. The region offers: Growing Reno/Sparks population Expanding family communities Strong demand for specialty dental care Access to Northern California Reno-Tahoe International Airport No Nevada state individual income tax Lake Tahoe approximately an hour away World-class skiing and snowboarding Hiking Mountain biking Boating Golf Four-season outdoor recreation For an Orthodontist currently practicing in Northern California, Reno is close enough to support a recurring travel model. For someone ready for a larger lifestyle change, it can also be an exceptional place to relocate and build a long-term career. āļø Out-of-State Orthodontists Are Strongly Encouraged to Apply You do not need to currently live in Nevada. We'd particularly like to hear from Orthodontists throughout: Sacramento Northern California San Francisco Bay Area Central California Oregon Washington Arizona Utah Colorado Idaho The broader Western United States If you're close enough to travel, we can discuss a 1ā2 day-per-week Reno schedule . If you're interested in making Reno home, we can discuss the broader clinical opportunity and partial relocation assistance . Candidates who do not currently hold a Nevada dental license are also encouraged to apply if eligible for licensure. ā Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Completion of an accredited Orthodontic residency program Active Nevada dental license or ability to obtain one Excellent communication skills with patients and parents Collaborative approach to working with Pediatric Dentists and General Dentists Commitment to clinical quality and patient experience Ability to travel consistently to Reno or willingness to relocate to Northern Nevada š Opportunity Snapshot Clinical Location: Reno, Nevada Specialty: Orthodontics Travel Option: Approximately 1ā2 clinical days per week in Reno Relocation Option: Relocate to Reno and grow toward approximately 4+ clinical days per week Compensation: $1,500/day + $100 per new orthodontic start Relationship: 1099 Independent Contractor Relocation: Partial relocation assistance available Referral Base: Growing Pediatric Dentistry + General Dentistry network Regional Growth: South Reno + potential South Lake Tahoe opportunities Ownership: 100% Dentist-Owned š Travel In or Make Reno Home ā Let's Build Something You don't have to make an all-or-nothing decision to explore this opportunity. If you love where you live, travel to Reno 1ā2 days per week and add a productive orthodontic market to your existing schedule. If you're ready for a change, relocate to Reno with partial relocation assistance and help us build the orthodontic program into a larger, long-term clinical opportunity. Either way, you'll have guaranteed daily compensation, incentives tied directly to new starts, an expanding Pediatric Dentistry referral engine, regional growth opportunities, and the support of a 100% dentist-owned organization . Apply confidentially with your CV to start the conversation.
