The role Reporting to the Logistics Engineer / Load Planner, this role is responsible for packing and loading all Capital Equipment and associated spares and warranties. This is a high performing, semi-autonomous role where you will be preparing and delivering what will be our customers' first impression of Wyma’s quality and brand. Day to day, you will: Assemble transport frames and build pellets and crates to plans. Complete online documentation of all parts and assemblies to be shipped. Read and interpret load plans and assemble the loads into frames/crates and onto pallets. Secure products inside containers using straps, tie-downs or other methods to ensure no movement or damage during shipment. Operate forklifts and overhead gantry cranes to move parts and product. Maintain loading consumable stock levels (tiedowns, shackles, timber etc.) Follow all health and safety policies. To be successful in the role you will: Be able to mentally conceptualize / visualize in 3D (i.e., imagine where things could go). Have knowledge of mechanical assembly and basic carpentry. Understand engineering drawings & CAD viewer use – or the ability to learn. Have experience tying down heavy and technical equipment into containers or onto trucks. Have a forklift license and gantry crane experience. Be a team focused player who can communicate well. Be a self-starter, be able to think on the spot and make good decisions even when under time-pressure. Be able and willing to identify and work on opportunities for continuous improvement in this area. Have attention to detail and pride in own work and Wyma’s brand. Have shift flexibility and travel (either domestically or internationally) may be required.
