### **Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Clinic Based** **Salary:** £38,500 – £47,000 (FTE) **Location:** Surrey **Contract:** Permanent **Hours:** Full-time (40 hours per week) --- #### **About Our Client** Our client provides specialist occupational therapy services to children aged 0–16 years in a clinic setting. Children may present with a range of diagnoses, including Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Speech and Language delays/disorders, global developmental delay, or neurological conditions. The service is built around a child-centred approach, using a structured three-step process: - **Identify:** Comprehensive assessments to determine strengths and challenges. - **Educate:** Sharing knowledge with families and schools to ensure needs are understood and supported. - **Accelerate:** Delivering tailored therapy packages with individualised goals and activity programmes to help children reach their full potential. --- #### **About the Role** As an **Occupational Therapist**, you will: - Work as an autonomous practitioner managing a clinical caseload. - Undertake assessments using both standardised and informal tools. - Interpret assessment data and produce detailed clinical reports. - Develop child- and family-centred treatment plans using goal attainment scaling. - Deliver 1:1 and small group therapy sessions in the clinic. - Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping. - Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and manage risk.
