### **Paediatric Occupational Therapist** **Location:** West London **Contract:** Locum/Temporary **Hours:** Full-time (term-time or full year) **Salary:** Competitive, based on experience --- #### **About the Role** Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled **Paediatric Occupational Therapist** to join their team in a specialist school setting in West London. This role focuses on supporting children and young people with a range of physical, developmental, and sensory needs to achieve their full potential in education and daily life. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to provide tailored interventions that promote independence, participation, and wellbeing. --- #### **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct comprehensive assessments using standardised and informal tools. - Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to support functional skills, self-care, and school-based activities. - Deliver 1:1 and group therapy sessions within the school environment. - Provide advice, training, and strategies to staff and caregivers to embed therapeutic approaches. - Contribute to EHCP processes and multidisciplinary reviews. - Maintain accurate clinical records and reports. --- #### **About You** - Diploma/BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy. - HCPC registration. - Experience working with children and young people, ideally in an educational or paediatric setting. - Strong understanding of child development and therapeutic techniques. - Excellent communication and organisational skills. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as required. --- #### **Why Join Our Client?** - Supportive and collaborative school environment.. - Make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.
