Paralegal

Job description

**Who we are** At Namaa, we build and operate tech-enabled urban infrastructure that gives consumers fast, reliable access to meals, groceries, and everyday essentials. Traditional retail models, built around brick-and-mortar locations, often struggle to compete in today’s digital-first landscape. Challenges such as cost efficiency per square foot, logistics-optimized locations, and seamless technology integration have made it clear that a new approach is needed. We believe the future of foodservice and commerce lies in purpose-built infrastructure designed for speed, accuracy, and scalability. That’s why Namaa was established—to power the next generation of digital food and quick commerce ecosystems across the Middle East. Our ecosystem is driven by a portfolio of specialized business units, including **KitchenPark**, **CloudRetail**, and **Profood Properties**, each playing a key role in enabling brands to grow and thrive in an increasingly on-demand world. **What you’ll do** As a Paralegal, you’ll join Namaa’s Middle East Legal Team and support the team across our markets, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day corporate and legal operations, working closely with internal teams, external counsel and local service providers. - Manage corporate secretarial and entity maintenance matters across our Middle East entities, including registrations, renewals, annual filings, KYC/UBO requirements and other corporate compliance obligations. - Prepare and coordinate corporate documentation, including board and shareholder resolutions, powers of attorney, authority documents, and documents relating to entity formations, amendments and other corporate changes. - Maintain corporate governance records, including signing authority matrices, POA trackers, corporate databases, entity management systems and organisational charts. - Coordinate entity changes, including changes to directors/managers, authorised signatories, registered addresses, share capital and ownership information. - Manage the execution, notarisation, apostille/legalisation and certification of corporate and legal documents across the region. - Work closely with PROs/GROs and local teams on licensing, registrations and other government-facing requirements. - Coordinate with external counsel and corporate service providers across different jurisdictions, ensuring filings, renewals and deliverables are followed through to completion. - Support the Legal Team with legal operations, including document routing, execution and storage, filing deadlines, trackers and improvements to internal legal processes. - Liaise with internal stakeholders across Finance, Tax, People, Real Estate and other business teams on corporate and governance matters. - Provide broader paralegal and legal support to the Middle East Legal Team as required. **What we’re looking for** - 3+ years of relevant experience as an in-house paralegal, legal assistant or within a law firm. - Experience with corporate/company secretarial matters, entity management and corporate documentation. - Exposure to Middle East jurisdictions and an understanding of local corporate and regulatory requirements. - Fluency in both **Arabic and English**, written and spoken. - Strong organisational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail. - Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of matters from start to finish, including following up with multiple stakeholders and external providers. - Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams, jurisdictions and external advisors. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and managing multiple priorities and deadlines. - A practical, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to identify issues, follow up independently and keep matters moving. - This is not a purely administrative role; we’re looking for someone who can take ownership, exercise good judgment and contribute to improving how the Legal Team operates. **Why join us** - Demand for online food delivery is growing really fast! In the last 5 years, just in the US, the overall market has expanded 10X from $10B to $100B, and could expand to $500bn- $1T by 2030. - Changing the restaurant industry: You’ll be part of a team that helps restaurants succeed in online food delivery. - Collaborative environment: You will receive support and guidance from experienced colleagues and managers, helping you to learn, grow and achieve your goals, and you’ll work closely with other teams to ensure our customer’s success. **What else you need to know** This role is based in our Amman office location. As a company driven by innovation and continuous change, close collaboration is essential. We’re constantly reimagining our industry, creating new products, and refining our processes, and we do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week. **Ready to join us as we serve those who serve others?***#LI-Onsite*
