Overview of the role Phoenix is a leading UK IT solutions and managed service provider, with a deep specialism in the public sector. The Cleaners role is to support the Cleaning supervisor to maintain a clean work environment for others, and to enable the rest of the company to continue without disturbance in their day-to-day activities. What will you be doing? Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all office, kitchen, washroom, and communal areas. Clean, tidy, and replenish washroom facilities, ensuring consumables are always well stocked. Ensure kitchens and break areas are clean, organised, and fully maintained, including dishwashing and fridge hygiene. Carry out routine cleaning of reception areas, meeting rooms, corridors, stairwells, offices, and other shared spaces. Empty waste and recycling bins and ensure waste is disposed of correctly. Prepare meeting rooms and communal areas to a professional standard for employees and visitors. Maintain The Zone facilities, including kitchen and shower areas, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and welcoming. Remove litter, used crockery, and other clutter from workspaces and communal areas. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report any maintenance or health and safety concerns. Assist with opening and securing the building, including locking doors, setting alarms, and carrying out end-of-day checks. Support the wider facilities team in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment. What are we looking for? The right person for this role will be an experienced cleaner with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards. They will be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while managing their time effectively.
