Position Overview The Renewables Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator position oversees the purchasing of critical goods, equipment, supplies, and materials for a Renewables plant while managing purchase orders through resolution of invoicing, supplier quality, and returns-related issues. The role partners closely with vendors to ensure product availability, mitigate supply disruptions, and communicate solutions to internal stakeholders. It also identifies and implements opportunities to improve sourcing strategies, supplier performance, product quality, cost effectiveness, and delivery reliability. Additionally, the position manages inventory processes and collaborates with procurement teams to optimize inventory levels, support working capital objectives, and provide training on purchasing systems and policies. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, analytical, and proactive professional with strong supplier relationship management skills, inventory expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset.
