**Part Time Senior Companion (Spanish Speaking / Dementia Experience Required) – North Miami Beach, FL** A warm and attentive family in North Miami Beach is seeking a compassionate, Spanish-speaking caregiver to provide part-time, non-medical support and companionship for an 82-year-old woman with stage 4/5 dementia. **Schedule:** - 3 days per week (exact days flexible) - 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Approximately 18 hours per week guaranteed **Family Specifications:** *Peaceful, non-smoking home environment**Primary language spoken in the home is Cuban Spanish**Family-managed care led by care recipient's daughter* **Responsibilities:** - Provide engaging companionship and gentle interaction in Spanish (e.g., conversation, watching preferred TV programs) - Assist with personal hygiene and daily routine - Prepare meals tailored to recipient's preferences - Maintain a safe, supportive, and safe environment tailored to stage 4/5 dementia care needs **Requirements:** - Native or fluent Spanish speaker (Cuban Spanish fluency preferred) - 1+ years of experience with senior care and moderate-to-severe dementia (Stage 4/5) - CPR and First Aid certified - Must have reliable transportation **Preferred:** - Native Cuban Spanish speaker - Specialized training in memory care or dementia redirection **Compensation:** - $15.00 – $20.00 **per hour (commensurate with experience)** *All candidates will be subject to a background check.
