Whether you’re scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, assisting with admissions, or helping patients understand their financial responsibilities, your work helps keep care moving forward. This role combines customer service, problem-solving, and attention to detail in a fast-paced healthcare environment where compassion and communication matter every day. 💼 What You’ll Do Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors in person and by phone Schedule appointments and coordinate patient services accurately and efficiently Register patients and update demographic, insurance, and guarantor information Verify insurance eligibility and collect required documentation Support admissions, transfers, discharges, and bed placement processes as needed Explain financial responsibilities, collect payments, and connect patients with financial assistance resources Answer calls and direct patients to the appropriate departments and services Collaborate with clinical and support teams to help ensure a seamless patient experience ⚡ What Makes You Great in This Role You genuinely enjoy helping people and creating positive experiences You stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment You communicate clearly and confidently with patients and team members You can multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail You’re compassionate, professional, and solutions-focused 🧠 What You Bring Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Comfort working with patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and financial processes Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn healthcare systems quickly Strong organizational and time management skills 📋 Minimum Requirement High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) 2 years of customer service and/or healthcare experience preferred 🎯 Why This Role Matters Healthcare can feel overwhelming for patients and families.
