Job description
Office Location: Portage, MI (hybrid) Employment Type: Full-time regular (40 hours per week; M-F) **Your Role at Walker** In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This role requires a strong attention to detail, knowledge of payroll regulations, and proficiency in payroll software. **Responsibilities** - Review timesheets and process payroll accurately for hourly and salaried employees. - Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including personal information, tax withholdings, deductions, and benefits. - Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits. - Maintain payroll files and records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements. - Assist with payroll audits and reconciliations. - Utilize payroll software to process payroll and generate reports. - Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate payroll data. **Qualifications** Education Requirements: An associate's degree is preferred.
