## **Pediatric Behavioral Health Care Manager (BHCM)** **Part-Time | 20 hours/week (path to full-time) On-Site:** 1140 Parsippany Blvd, Parsippany, NJ **Salary:** $30,000 to $32,500 annually based on experience ## **Why This Role Stands Out** This is not a traditional therapy role. As a Behavioral Health Care Manager, you will be the core member of an integrated, multi-disciplinary treatment team supporting a panel of patients with pediatric mental health needs. You’ll practice in a true **Collaborative Care Model (CoCM)**, working alongside pediatricians and a psychiatric consultant to deliver measurement-based, outcomes-driven care to children and families at a population health impact. We partner with leading organizations like the **Child Mind Institute** and follow the **AIMS Center** model to deliver care that is both scalable and clinically rigorous. ## **What You’ll Do** You’ll manage a caseload within a structured, team-based model: - Deliver brief, evidence-based interventions (CBT skills, Behavioral Activation, Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving Treatment, Parent-Management Training) - Track outcomes using validated tools (PHQ-9, GAD-7, SCARED, etc.) - Adjust care based on treatment-to-target principles - Coordinate closely with pediatricians, psychiatrists, and families - Support medication adherence and monitor response - Participate in weekly psychiatric case consultation - Drive patient engagement, follow-up, and continuity of care ## **Schedule (Designed for Consistency + Flexibility)** - **20 hours/week**, with opportunity to grow into full-time - **3 days on-site for afternoons/evening hours between 1:30-7:30 pm (choice of Mon–Thurs)** - **3 flexible remote hours/week** for admin, care coordination, and meetings ## **What We’re Looking For** - **Required Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitation, or another relevant field; Preferred Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitation, or another relevant field** - Minimum 2-years of direct clinical experience working with children, adolescents and their families (e.g., ages 4-24 years old) - Experience and training in delivering brief psychosocial evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT, problem solving treatment, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing) - Experience with care coordination - Working knowledge of differential diagnosis of common mental health disorders. - Strong skills in engaging parents and children, developing appropriate treatment planning, and ability to collaborate and communicate proactively with the key supports in a child’s life including external providers and school personnel - Preferred experience working in a team-based healthcare setting - Organized, proactive, and comfortable with measurement-based care - Thrives in a team-based, fast-moving clinical environment ## **What You’ll Get** - High-quality clinical model with clear structure and support - Training and ongoing consultation through the AIMS framework - A role where you can focus on clinical impact within a population health framework - A collaborative team that values clinical rigor and outcomes - Competitive compensation + generous PTO (including mental health days) - Opportunity to grow with a fast-moving, mission driven startup
