**About The Role** As our People Business Partner for GoTo Group Tech team, you’ll be a seasoned and strategic People and Culture (PAC) thought partner to a specific set of our amazing Technology team. You will trade between business imperatives and the needs of our employees, contributing hands-on efforts at the strategic level partnership with relevant client-groups. You will get ample opportunity to work on a variety of global projects, acting as a thought-leader by sharing our knowledge, experience and people-related best practices among the broader PAC team and GoTo ecosystem. ### What You Will Do - Supports and contributes to strategic conversations with senior leadership, both within and outside his/her respective business - Leads and implements people and talent strategies for respective businesses (succession planning, talent management etc.) - Participate in the evaluation of strategies (e.g. determining strategic success, diagnosing failures, strategic adjustments) - Understands the business needs in the short, medium and long term and proactively suggests and leads initiatives and projects to solve strategic people and organizational challenges for his/her respective business - Ensures that PAC and business solutions are on-time, on-budget, and to a high standard of quality - Implements and advocates for programs, policies, and procedures to support the organizational culture - Coaches, mentors, conducts career conversations and able to provide objective and actionable feedback to team members, peers and other stakeholders - Navigates stakeholder relationship challenges well (e.g. reconciles, anticipates needs and wants, balances long and short term relationship trade offs) and comes up with solutions as appropriate - Recognizes and takes appropriate action to mitigate risk (organizational, legal, employee relations, etc) and develops options to mitigate them ### What You Will Need - Experienced HR professional who supports overall people and organizational activities across the employee life cycle. Able to handle a big business unit independently and users up to executive level with minimal intervention from his/her manager. - Experienced professional who supports overall people and organizational activities across the employee life cycle. Able to handle a big business unit independently and users up to L8 with minimal intervention from his/her manager. - Typically handles a business regionally with typical years of PBP experience: 3-6 years - Demonstrates relevant experience (business partnering, OD, performance management, talent development, C&B, ER) and ability to consult the business and leaders on how to manage people and organizational matters - Understands the right levers to pull in a situation (comp, process, comp, training, etc.) - Demonstrates fluency in data concepts and processes (understand stats, hypothesis-driven approach, etc) and ability to conduct data manipulation (e.g. pivot tables, charts, etc.)
