People Operations Manager

Job description

**About Pave Bank** Pave Bank is a fully licensed commercial bank, regulated by the National Bank of Georgia. We are reimagining how global businesses access and move capital by bridging the gap between traditional finance and digital assets. Joining Pave Bank means becoming part of a fast-growing institution redefining this convergence. You will have the opportunity to work alongside second-time founders and industry leaders, gain deep exposure to institutional banking and digital assets, and grow within a dynamic and ambitious team. **The Role** We are seeking a **People Operations Manager** to join our team. The position will be based in **Malaysia (or SEA) with travel to Georgia.** This role will be responsible for building, owning, and scaling the people operations infrastructure across Pave Bank as we grow across multiple countries and entities. The role will have end-to-end ownership of core HR processes, systems, policies, and employee administration, while partnering closely with leadership and managers to create a consistent and high-quality employee experience across the Group. The ideal candidate will be highly hands-on, comfortable operating in a fast-growing environment, and able to build scalable processes rather than simply administer existing ones. **Key Responsibilities** - **People Operations:** Own day-to-day people operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, documentation, leave administration, benefits, and offboarding across Group entities. - **HRIS & People Systems:** Own and continuously improve the Group’s HRIS and people technology stack, ensuring employee data is accurate, processes are automated where possible, and systems can support a multi-entity and multi-country organization. - **Payroll & Benefits:** Coordinate payroll and benefits administration across jurisdictions, working with Finance, external payroll providers, and local partners to ensure accurate and timely processing. - **Process Improvement:** Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve people processes while maintaining appropriate controls and documentation. - **Entity & Corporate Administration:** Coordinate entity-level corporate administration and liaise with corporate secretarial providers across Group entities to maintain accurate corporate records, support required filings and governance processes, and provide entity documentation internally as needed. **Requirements** - The ideal candidate has **6–10 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or generalist HR roles**, with meaningful ownership and hands-on experience of core HR processes rather than purely advisory experience. - Demonstrated experience **building or significantly improving HR processes and systems**, ideally within a startup, scale-up, fintech, financial services, or similarly fast-moving organization. - Experience supporting a **multi-country and multi-entity workforce**, with an understanding of the operational complexities of employment across different jurisdictions. - Strong experience with **HRIS platforms, payroll administration, employee data management, and HR process automation**. - Experience managing onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, policies, and employee relations. - Comfortable working independently with a **high degree of ownership**, including identifying gaps and implementing solutions without requiring highly developed existing processes.
