Job description

## **About Phoenix** Founded in 2019, Phoenix is building the most trusted telehealth platform in Canada, making specialist healthcare accessible to every Canadian, wherever they are. Our platform breaks down barriers to care, empowering patients to take control of their health with personalized treatment options and the guidance of licensed providers. If you thrive where big ideas turn into real impact, you'll fit right in here. We're a team of creative problem-solvers who move deliberately and collaborate in person, because we think the best work happens that way. At Phoenix, you'll find autonomy over your work, people who care about each other's success, and a mission that's making healthcare better for Canadians. ## **About the Role** We’re looking for a curious, data-driven **Performance Marketing Specialist** to support the execution and optimization of paid media campaigns that drive customer acquisition and measurable growth for Phoenix. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, working closely with senior marketers, creative, and product partners to improve performance across key paid channels. You’ll be responsible for managing campaigns day-to-day, analyzing results, and continuously testing and optimizing to improve conversion rates and efficiency. This is an opportunity to grow your performance marketing skillset in a fast-moving, data-informed environment. ## What you'll do to support the company mission - Execute and optimize paid media campaigns across performance channels such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat. - Support customer acquisition funnel optimization by monitoring performance, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements. - Analyze campaign performance using core KPIs (e.g., CTR, CVR, CAC, ROAS) and share insights with the broader marketing team. - Build and refine audience targeting and segmentation to improve conversion rates and traffic quality. - Partner with creative and marketing teams to test ad copy, visuals, and landing page variations. - Run A/B tests and structured experiments to improve campaign performance over time. - Assist with budget pacing and channel-level optimizations to ensure efficient spend. - Help develop and execute retargeting and remarketing campaigns to convert high-intent users. - Maintain accurate reporting and dashboards to track performance and surface trends. - Stay informed on platform updates, best practices, and emerging performance marketing tools. ## What will help you succeed in the role - 2–4 years of hands-on experience in performance or paid media marketing. - Experience executing and optimizing campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads (experience with additional channels is a plus). - Experience managing at least 6-figure monthly budgets. - Experience working in a highly regulated industry involving policy and policy issues (e.g. health and wellness, drugs and pharma, cannabis, etc.). - Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and ad platform reporting. - Solid understanding of performance marketing metrics and how to use data to inform optimization. - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. - Comfortable managing multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Clear communicator who collaborates well with cross-functional partners. - Eager to learn, test, and iterate with a growth mindset toward performance marketing. - You are passionate about improving the Canadian healthcare experience and have a personal connection to the space. # **Why Work at Phoenix?** - **A Rewarding Mission:** Through our asynchronous care model, Phoenix is reimagining patient-centric care for Canadians across the country by making diagnoses and treatment delivery faster, more accessible, and completely discreet. - **Impact & Autonomy:** You’ll work directly with passionate, experienced leaders who’ve seen the ups and downs of building a business and genuinely care about your growth. You won’t just execute — you’ll help shape the future of Phoenix and Raven. - **Collaborative On-Site Culture:** Our Operations, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams work together on-site from our downtown Toronto HQ. We thrive on quick feedback loops, spontaneous brainstorms, and actually knowing the people we work with. Bonus points if you're into the occasional foosball tournament or have strong opinions about the best lunch spot nearby. - **Clinical Excellence:** All Phoenix & Raven telehealth clinicians work remotely, providing the highest quality care for even the most sensitive of health topics. Medications are delivered directly (and discreetly) to patients via our pharmacy warehouses, where our diligent Pharmacy team packages each treatment with care. - **Competitive Pay, Real Benefits:** Our compensation bands are backed by real market data, so offers are competitive and fair. Our benefits package includes standard healthcare coverage, a remote-first holiday season, and holistic wellbeing support for when life just happens. *Phoenix is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
