PHP Consultant

BabyCenter is seeking a PHP developer for our Social Team with a passion for building world-class experiences for large audiences. This is a great position if you like being hands-on with customer solutions that have a very large reach, particularly on mobile phones. The ideal candidate will be able to move between web programming languages quickly, be able to understand requirements and work through details in an agile environment in a fast, friendly manner, and know how to write automated tests for the functionality they introduce. Responsibilities Participate as a core team developer, getting hands-on with BabyCenter s US Community site as well as other PHP sites Participate in the discussion of platform technical direction with team developers and architect Collaborate with Product Team to develop new products and features, gather requirements, and scope work Write automated tests (unit, integration, functional) for any functionality introduced Requirements 3+ years’ experience with PHP and LAMP stack Experience with Zend Framework 1 (or another PHP MVC framework) Unit-testing experience (e.g. PHPUnit) Working knowledge of GIT and gitflow Experience in working in responsive CSS (either by hand or with a responsive CSS framework such as Twitter Bootstrap or Zurb Foundation) Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery Experience in working in a cross-functional, team-based agile environment Strong professional, communication skills Bachelor s computer science degree, or equivalent experience Nice To Have - Experience in Selenium WebDriver Thanks & Regards, Shipra Chauhan | Team Recruitment | 732-201 8857 Mindlance Inc.
