GASTROENTEROLOGIST – ESOPHAGEAL/FOREGUT SPECIALIST Ochsner Health – DEPARTMENT OF GASTROENTEROLOGY – NEW ORLEANS Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible GASTROENTEROLOGIST to lead our esophageal disease program. Position Highlights : Focus on esophageal disease – no general GI clinics, unless desired Opportunity to lead the GI aspect of an existing, regional, multidisciplinary esophageal swallowing disorders program that includes specialists from foregut surgery, thoracic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, and speech and swallow pathology Oversee an exisiting esophageal motility lab that offers leading edge diagnostics – includes high-resolution esophageal manometry with impedance, EndoFlip®, BRAVO® pH testing, and pH impedance testing Departmental support to practice/develop/lead related programs in Barrett’s esophagus and endobariatrics, if desired.
