We are looking for a physicist or engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our R&D team as soon as possible for the development and testing of our future generations of electron beam columns. Key responsibilities: • Development of novel particle beam systems fulfilling high-end technical requirements for inspection and metrology in the semiconductor industry. • Define system requirements and specifications. Troubleshoot system problems. • Plan and conduct test of new technologies on prototypes in the laboratory. • Collects, analyzes data and designs statistically valid experiments. • Guide less experienced physicists/scientists. • Evaluate new technologies, pursue innovative solutions. • Close cooperation with multidisciplinary international R&D team.
