Als Platformmedewerker werk je op het platform van Schiphol en ben je betrokken bij de afhandeling van aankomende en vertrekkende vliegtuigen. Samen met jouw collega's zorg je ervoor dat bagage, vracht en post veilig en op tijd worden verwerkt, zodat iedere vlucht volgens planning kan vertrekken.
Je kunt bij ons zowel fulltime als parttime aan de slag. We kijken graag samen welke vorm van werken het beste bij jou past.
Je houdt je onder andere bezig met:
het plaatsen van wielblokken en pionnen rondom vliegtuigen
het bedienen van Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
het ophalen en verwerken van bijzondere bagage, zoals kinderwagens, muziekinstrumenten en sportuitrusting
het laden en lossen van bagage, vracht en post
het sorteren van uitgaande bagage
het tellen en registreren van geladen bagage, vracht en post
het schoon en veilig houden van de werkomgeving op het platform en bij de vliegtuigen
het werken volgens luchthaven-, airline- en veiligheidsvoorschriften
het samenwerken met collega's om vliegtuigen veilig, efficiënt en volgens planning af te handelen
Je kunt bij dnata kiezen voor een dienstverband dat aansluit bij jouw beschikbaarheid.
Fulltime
een contract tot 38 uur per week
werken in wisseldiensten (ochtend, middag, avond en nacht)
een vast rooster
Parttime (oproepbasis)
een oproepcontract van 3 uur per week
zelf jouw beschikbaarheid doorgeven
mogelijkheid om extra diensten te werken
goed te combineren met een studie, ander werk of andere activiteiten
minimale mbo 3 werk- en denkniveau
een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en/of Engelse taal
een geldig rijbewijs B
de bereidheid om in wisseldiensten te werken
de mogelijkheid om binnen één uur op Schiphol te zijn
Ervaring op het platform is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste. Wij leiden je op.
Voor deze functie is een Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar (VGB) verplicht.
Daarom is het belangrijk dat je:
de afgelopen 8 jaar aaneengesloten in de Europese Unie hebt gewoond
jouw woon- en werkverleden kunt aantonen
een positieve veiligheidsscreening kunt doorlopen
Zonder een geldige VGB kun je niet starten op Schiphol.
een fulltime dienstverband tot 38 uur per week of een flexibel oproepcontract van 3 uur per week
een bruto maandsalaris tussen € 2.856,- en € 3.673,- op basis van een fulltime dienstverband
onregelmatigheidstoeslagen conform de CAO WPBL

As a Platform Employee, you work on the platform of Schiphol and are involved in the handling of arriving and departing aircraft. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that baggage, cargo, and mail are processed safely and on time, so that every flight can depart according to schedule.
You can work with us both full-time and part-time. We are happy to discuss which form of work suits you best.
You will be involved in:
placing wheel chocks and cones around aircraft
operating Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
collecting and processing special baggage, such as strollers, musical instruments, and sports equipment
loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail
sorting outgoing baggage
counting and registering loaded baggage, cargo, and mail
keeping the work environment on the platform and near the aircraft clean and safe
working according to airport, airline, and safety regulations
collaborating with colleagues to handle aircraft safely, efficiently, and according to schedule
You can choose a contract at dnata that fits your availability.
Full-time
a contract up to 38 hours per week
working in shifts (morning, afternoon, evening, and night)
a fixed schedule
Part-time (on-call basis)
an on-call contract of 3 hours per week
indicate your availability yourself
possibility to work extra shifts
easy to combine with studies, other work, or other activities
You have:
at least vocational education level 3
a good command of the Dutch and/or English language
a valid driver's license B
the willingness to work in shifts
the ability to be at Schiphol within one hour
Experience on the platform is a plus, but not required. We will provide training.
For this position, a Certificate of No Objection (VGB) is mandatory.
Therefore, it is important that you:
have lived continuously in the European Union for the past 8 years
can demonstrate your residential and employment history
can pass a positive security screening
Without a valid VGB, you cannot start at Schiphol.
a full-time contract up to 38 hours per week or a flexible on-call contract of 3 hours per week
a gross monthly salary between € 2,856 and € 3,673 based on a full-time contract
irregularity allowances according to the WPBL Collective Labor Agreement
