Position Summary

- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours/emergency service
Requirements
What You’ll Need
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of plumbing, maintenance technician, or handyman experience
- Experience with service-based plumbing (not just new construction)
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently in the field
- Experience with drain cleaning, water heater service, and plumbing fixture repair or installation
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly (75–100 lbs occasionally)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and best practices
- English proficiency
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Availability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule that alternates every week
- If you do not hold a Chicago Plumbing License or apprentice status, 5+ years of plumbing experience is required
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Chicago Plumbing License or Apprentice experience
- Experience working in residential, apartment, condo, or HOA environments
- Sewer work experience
- Multi-trade experience (electrical, HVAC basics, carpentry)
