Job description
Your mission To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Post Production Producer (360° VR) who will take ownership of our immersive post-production from raw footage to final delivery. This role is ideal for an experienced 360° VR video editor / immersive post-production specialist who wants to own the full pipeline from rough stitch to final delivery. Role in the company As a Post-production Producer, you are the operational heart of 360° VR post-production at L1VE. You implement what others only plan: you take responsibility for stitching, editing, color grading, 3D audio and delivery – from raw material to final submission. Your focus will be on developing and implementing attractive, tailor-made concepts for our platform and events. You know the technical and aesthetic requirements of immersive media inside out – and you deliver with the precision, speed and quality standards that characterize L1VE. Together with the Senior Postproduction Manager, you will develop a scalable, reproducible post-production "machine" – and you will be the one who keeps it running every day. Please note: The start date for this role is flexible and will be agreed on an individual basis. Your responsibilities Carry out the entire 360° VR post-production process operationally: stitching (Mistika VR), color grading (DaVinci Resolve), compositing & finishing (After Effects) and final delivery in all relevant formats – independently, from start to finish. Take responsibility for spatial audio post-production: 3D audio editing, ambisonics processing and coordination with the sound team – with the goal of delivering a fully immersive experience in image and sound. Actively maintain and further develop the post-production pipeline: proxy workflows, file structures, naming conventions, status tracking in Planner – you make sure that every step is documented and traceable. Ensure quality at every stage of production: technical QC in image and audio, compliance with delivery specs, approvals – you do not send out anything that is not L1VE level. Coordinate closely with the Senior Postproduction Manager, the content team and tech – and provide clear, early feedback if timelines, material or specs don’t fit. Accompany productions on-set when needed: you know the camera setups, understand what is needed for post-production, and make sure that the material arrives exactly as required. Whether it’s live sports, music events or brand productions: you are the last resort before submission – and you know what it means when your name is attached to it. Your profile Experience, knowledge and skills At least 2 years of practical experience in 360° VR or immersive post-production – you have already carried out real projects independently from rough stitch to delivery. Hands-on experience with: Mistika VR (stitching & optical flow) DaVinci Resolve (color grading & finishing) After Effects (compositing, effects, equirectangular workflows) Solid understanding of 3D spatial audio workflows (Ambisonics, Dolby Atmos, binaural rendering) – you know how image and sound work together to create an immersive experience. Experience with proxy workflows and large file pipelines (RAW, ProRes, 8K+) and the ability to organize raw footage so that a team can work with it – not just you alone. Familiarity with PM tools such as Microsoft Planner, Notion or Confluence – you can independently maintain, document and make your project status transparent. Personal competencies & mindset Hands-on to the core – you sit at the timeline, not in the meeting. Precise and quality-conscious – you see mistakes that others don’t see, and you don’t let them through. Resilient under pressure – live productions don’t wait, neither do you. Real enthusiasm for immersive media, 360° VR and what makes spatial audio an experience. Communicative and reliable – your team, your manager and your partners always know where a project stands. Educational requirements Completed studies or training in media production, film, audio engineering, media management or a comparable field – or an equivalent qualification through proven practical experience in immersive post-production. Mistika VR, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects are your daily tools – you can run optical flow stitching, equirectangular compositing workflows, and 360°-specific color pipelines on your own. Language requirements English and German: fluent in business – you communicate confidently with international teams, studios and brand partners. Any additional languages are a plus. Travel Approx. 25% (on-set productions, events, partner meetings). We are not looking for someone who has done "something with media". We are looking for someone who knows what 360° material smells like when it is good – and what you have to do to make it sound and look like it. If that’s you: bring it on. Why us? Shape the future of immersive media: Build one of the leading 360° VR post-production pipelines in the industry – for picture and 3D audio – and set new standards for quality and innovation. Real impact on global productions: Work on high-profile projects in sports, music and brand partnerships where your decisions in post-production directly influence what millions of people experience. Build your own “engine room”: Help design processes, select tools and structure workflows so that post-production runs like a high-performance machine – with you in the driver’s seat on the operational side. Work with a strong, interdisciplinary team: Collaborate closely with creatives, technologists and strategists who all share the same goal: delivering the best immersive experiences on the market. Flexible work environment: Hybrid work model, modern tools and a setup that allows you to combine deep-focus work in post-production with on-site production moments. Culture of responsibility and excellence: Join a team that values ownership, clear communication and the ambition to consistently deliver at a top level – without losing the joy of experimentation and bold ideas.
