Job description
Location: RNLI College, Poole, Dorset, BH15 1HZ Pay: £19,895.47/per year Hours: Permanent, 30 hours/week, Monday to Friday We’re looking for a Post Room Assistant to join our team. The role of Post Room Assistant is to carry out day to day Post Room activities in a professional, flexible and proactive manner and to provide the highest standards of service to the RNLI. What you’ll do: The delivery, collection and sorting of goods and mail within service level agreements To provide additional delivery or collection services within the campus as directed To be able to load a trolley with items in the correct sequence of drop points and collection points To complete helpdesk jobs as required Demonstrating pride & professionalism in all facets of customer service To take ownership of all work Communicating with clients professionally at all times, by understanding their needs, promoting our service Supporting the Client to introduce service enhancements & developments. Co-operating with both immediate and wider range of colleagues Contributing & maintain a positive team spirit Maintaining a safe working process related to Health & Safety and COSHH regulations Undertaking any reasonable ad hoc duties as requested by the Post Room Supervisor Assist other departments if applicable Carry out any reasonable Management Request Proper use of PPE supplied including footwear To liaise with other departments to ensure good communication and to offer support What we’re looking for: To attend training courses and/or meetings when required Report any complaints, incident of injury, fire, theft, loss and damages immediately to relevant Manager Manage time keeping & attendance Good eye for detail Able to work on your own and/or part of a team and have a good work ethic Show willingness to learn About Aramark UK At Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.
