**Job Title:** Locum Psychologist – Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs **Location:** Cheshire **Working Hours:** 2 days per week (Monday–Friday, daytime hours) **Salary:** Attractive rates (PAYE or approved umbrella only) **Start Date:** ASAP **End Date:** Ongoing Are you a qualified Psychologist with experience in mental health and learning disabilities? Pulse is recruiting for a Locum Psychologist to work across three specialist residential services supporting adults with learning disabilities, behaviours that challenge, and associated complex needs. This is a part-time opportunity (2 days per week) to join a well-established multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and contribute to person-centred care in a social care setting. ### Responsibilities As a Locum Psychologist, **you will**: - Provide psychological input across three (local) residential services - Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions. - Work collaboratively with the MDT to support care planning and risk management. - Contribute to service users’ wellbeing through evidence-based approaches. - Support staff teams with psychologically informed strategies and consultation. - Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development. ### Benefits - Attractive locum rates - Flexible daytime working (Mon–Fri) - Ongoing contract - Supportive MDT environment - Opportunity to work across diverse settings - Weekly payroll via PAYE or approved umbrella companies ### Qualifications and Experience We welcome applications from candidates who meet the following criteria: - HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist - Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs - Strong understanding of mental health and behavioural support - Ability to work across multiple sites and collaborate with MDTs - Excellent communication and formulation skills If you don’t meet every requirement but feel passionate about this role, we still encourage you to apply – we value potential and commitment. ### How to Apply Click “Apply” via the **Pulse website** to submit your CV.
