Application close date: Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed. At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility on-orbit. At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. Blue National Security (BNS) is at the forefront of that mission — delivering advanced satellite systems and space capabilities that protect and empower those who defend our nation. We are building the next generation of LEO satellite platforms, and we need bold, experienced engineers who are ready to push the boundaries of what's possible in space power systems. We are seeking a Principal Electrical Power Subsystem (EPS) Architect to join our growing BNS team. In this role, you will serve as a technical authority and key contributor to the design, development, and maturation of electrical power systems for LEO satellites and other novel technologies — from conventional solar and battery technology to novel, next-generation technologies that extend beyond today's state of the art. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of on-orbit power at a company that moves fast, thinks big, and builds for real.
