Check us out on LinkedIn: Medtronic Pelvic Health Check us out on LinkedIn: Medtronic Brain Modulation and Pain Interventions As a Principal Quality Engineer , you will lead Post Market Quality activities for Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health Service Depot operations, driving investigations, quality improvements, and compliance-focused decision making. This position serves as a key quality partner, supporting investigations, corrective and preventive actions, risk assessment, and quality system processes that help maintain the safety, reliability, and effectiveness of therapies used by patients worldwide. This role supports the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health Operating Units within Medtronic’s Post Market Quality organization. The team is responsible for monitoring product performance, evaluating post-market quality data, driving product and process improvements, and ensuring compliance across Service Depot operations Primary Responsibilities Serve as the primary Post Market Quality representative supporting Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health products within Service Depot operations, providing quality leadership and compliance oversight. Lead complex investigations involving product quality issues, customer complaints, and returned product evaluations to identify root causes and drive effective resolution. Evaluate post-market data, quality signals, and emerging risks to support strategic decision-making and ensure product performance expectations are met. Lead the development and presentation of Product Performance Reviews, using trend analysis and quality metrics to communicate performance, risks, and improvement opportunities. Own complex Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) and drive implementation of corrective actions that improve product quality, compliance, and operational effectiveness. Identify and lead strategic quality improvement initiatives that enhance processes, reduce risk, and improve efficiency across Service Depot and repair operations. Serve as a quality process owner and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure compliance with quality system requirements and continuous process improvement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Post Market Quality, Medical Device Quality, or a related quality-focused discipline; or Advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience leading investigations involving product quality issues, customer complaints, nonconformances, or returned product evaluations. Experience with Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes and quality system requirements. Knowledge of quality risk assessment methodologies and regulated quality system processes. Experience working in a regulated industry environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Post Market Quality activities within the medical device industry. Knowledge of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Quality System Regulation and ISO 13485 requirements. Experience supporting service operations, service depot functions, manufacturing operations, or repair environments. Experience with Neuromodulation and/or Pelvic Health products and therapies. Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers or other technical professionals. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
