# Principal/Senior Data Architect > MP Solutions Ltd. · Budapest, Hungary · Full-time · Posted 2026-09-01 **Workplace:** on_site **Department:** EVO ## Description - Own the end-to-end data architecture, from ingestion and streaminf through the lakehouse to analytics and BI. - Define data modelling standards, table partitioning and layout stategy, and schema-evolution and migration practices. - Set governance, data-contract, lineage, and data quality standards across data domains. - Stay hands-on: protoripe pipelines, tune analytical queries, and buid reference implementations the team follows. - Hands-on DBA experience is required for this role, including database perdormance, tuning, query optimalization, indexing, partitioning, capacity planning. ## Requirements - BSc or MSc degree in an IT field. - 7+years in data engineering or architecture, including designing lakehouse or large-scale analytical (OLAP/MPP) architectures. - Experience with open table formats (e.g. Apache Iceberg) and modern columnar analytics engines. - Expert SQL and strong Data modeling skills (dimensional and analytical/wide-table). - Hands-on experience with distributed data processing and/or streaming, and with running data systems on Kubernetes. - Demonstrated technical leadership of data team or major initiative. - English/hungarian language skills. **Advantages** - Hybrid or on-premises experience and capacity/cost planning at large scale. - Background in AdTech, MarTech, or other high volume analytics businesses. - Familiar with geographic data systems and spacial indexing technologies (e.g., H3, Geohash). ## Benefits - Global collaboration with diverse teams. - A team of great engineers. - Cafeteria. ## Apply [Apply at MP Solutions Ltd.](https://apply.workable.com/mpsolutions/j/4A79F2C246/apply) --- Powered by [Workable](https://www.workable.com)
