Job description
We are seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team in New Brighton, MN. As a Licensed Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of our Oral Health Care team, assisting dentists, CRNAs, anesthesiologists, hygienists, and dental/advanced therapists in the preparation and direct provision of primary care dental services to patients in our outpatient clinics or at community sites within the satellite delivery program. ### Key Responsibilities: - Assist dentists in all aspects of patient care, including procedures and exams. - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols. - Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care. - Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed. - Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. - Travel as needed to support community sites, which may include driving a company vehicle or personal transportation when necessary. ### Requirements: - High school diploma or GED required. - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program. - Active Minnesota Licensure, DAND Certification, and/or other state jurisprudence requirements to perform designated tasks. - Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross. - Effective oral and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency preferred based on clinic location). - Valid driver’s license and ability to be added to the company car insurance roster highly preferred. ### Why Join Us? - Flexible schedule – choose the shifts that fit your availability. - Opportunity to work in a professional, patient-focused environment. - Supportive team dedicated to providing high-quality dental care.
