As an integral part of our dental team, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health through direct patient care and education. ### Why Join Us? - Competitive Hourly Pay (Non-Exempt Position) - Loan Forgiveness Opportunities: Up to $55,000 for full-time and Up to $30,000 for part-time - Flexible schedule – choose the shifts that fit your availability. - Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient education and preventive care. - Work with a supportive team dedicated to high-quality dental services. ### Key Responsibilities: - Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, including scaling & root planning - Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting - Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (N2O) as certified - Take and develop dental x-rays - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols - Collaborate with dental providers to ensure comprehensive patient care ### Requirements: - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program - Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing - Clinical experience preferred, but not required - Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross - Local anesthesia/N2O certification - Proficiency or willingness to learn Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other necessary systems. - Valid state driver’s license
