Process Development Engineer Lamination

Job description

Tasks: Responsible for the research and development of components / assemblies of components in leather lamination process, from concept phase to series production; Carry out and documentation of feasibility analyses, process definition and possible further development of components; Conduct conceptual activities within his/her area of expertise; Development and implementation of tests and analyses of the cutouts / carrier parts / sewn clothes using standard procedures, in coordination with project in order to achieve the desired results and interpretation of results; Identify and analyze problems and develop proposed solutions, increasing the level of maturity and supporting practical implementation into series production; Independent process engineering project work in accordance with SEP; Preparation, development and release of result documentation (e.g. test samples, deviations/ error images on the sewn clothes/cutouts/carrier part) in coordination with project schedules; Presentation of the developed concepts internally. Profile: Bachelor Degree in a technical field; +3 years of experience in Automotive; Knowledge about leather process, especially in cutting, splitting, skiving, sewing and wrapping, develop and optimize the pattern would be an asset; Very good communication skills in English; German language is an advantage; Willingness to travel; Independent, responsible and careful work; Analytical skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills; Initiative and creative skills; Very good communication skills, team–player and self-motivated; Strong willingness to learn, grow and to further develop.
