With engineering, manufacturing, and service operations across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, Zeeco delivers technically complex projects for some of the world's leading energy and industrial companies. ### The Opportunity Zeeco India is looking for an experienced **Process Engineer with 7–10 years of experience** to join our engineering team. This role is particularly suited to engineers from an **EPC, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, LNG, or Heavy Engineering background** who enjoy working on technically challenging projects and want to take their process engineering experience into **specialized combustion and environmental technologies**. You will be involved across the project lifecycle — from **process design and engineering calculations through detailed engineering, vendor coordination, multidisciplinary reviews, commissioning, and troubleshooting**. If you have experience developing PFDs/P&IDs, performing process and hydraulic calculations, sizing equipment, participating in HAZOPs, and coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines, this role offers an opportunity to apply those skills to **global, technically demanding projects**. ### What You Will Do: ### Process Design & Engineering - Develop **Process Design Basis** and execute process engineering activities for customer projects. - Prepare and review **PFDs, P&IDs, Heat & Material Balances, process calculations, and engineering documents**. - Perform **line sizing, hydraulic calculations, pressure drop calculations, utility calculations, and equipment sizing**. - Size and select **pumps, control valves, separators, tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, skids, and other process equipment**. - Prepare **process datasheets, equipment specifications, and technical requisitions**. ### EPC & Multidisciplinary Project Execution - Work closely with **Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil, and Project Engineering teams** to deliver integrated project solutions. - Review customer specifications, design requirements, and project documents and translate them into practical engineering deliverables. - Participate in **design reviews, technical meetings, and project coordination discussions**. - Review vendor documents, drawings, calculations, and technical submissions and provide engineering comments and clarifications. - Support procurement, fabrication, inspection, and project execution activities from a process engineering perspective. ### Process Safety & Technical Reviews - Participate in **HAZOP, HAZID, SIL assessments, design reviews, and other process safety activities**. - Support the development and review of **relief systems, PSV sizing, flare loads, backpressure calculations, and related process safety requirements**. - Ensure engineering deliverables comply with applicable **API, ASME, ANSI, ISO, NFPA, and OSHA PSM requirements**. ### Commissioning & Troubleshooting - Provide process engineering support during **commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and troubleshooting**. - Investigate process-related issues and work with cross-functional teams to identify practical engineering solutions. - Interface with customers and project teams when technical clarification or site support is required. ### Technical Expertise We Are Looking For: You should have hands-on experience with several of the following: - Heat & Material Balance - Process design calculations - Hydraulic calculations - Line sizing and pressure drop calculations - Pump and control valve sizing - Equipment sizing and selection - Utility consumption calculations - PFD and P&ID development/review - Process datasheets and equipment specifications - Vendor document review - HAZOP / HAZID / SIL studies - Relief system and PSV sizing - Multidisciplinary EPC engineering coordination ### Engineering Software: Experience with one or more of the following will be an advantage: - **Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus** - **Aspen Flare System Analyzer (FSA)** - **Flarenet** - **PIPE-FLO** - **AutoCAD** - **Advanced Microsoft Excel** ### Your EPC Experience Could Be a Great Fit: We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked on **large-scale or technically complex EPC projects** involving: - Oil & Gas - Refineries - Petrochemical plants - LNG facilities - Process plants - Energy projects - Heavy Engineering - Process equipment - Skid/package engineering Experience with **flare systems, combustion equipment, thermal oxidizers, VRUs, fired heaters, or other process/combustion systems** is an added advantage — but **not mandatory**. What matters most is your ability to take ownership of process engineering deliverables, perform sound engineering calculations, work across disciplines, and contribute effectively throughout the project lifecycle. ### Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in **Chemical Engineering**. - **7–10 years of relevant process engineering experience**. - Strong preference for candidates from **EPC, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, LNG, Heavy Engineering, Process Equipment, or Energy projects**. - Strong understanding of **process engineering fundamentals and industrial process equipment**. - Experience working in **multidisciplinary project environments**. - Good technical communication and coordination skills.
