Date Posted: 2026-08-17 Country: Canada Location: CA-ON-OAKVILLE-1400 ~ 1400 S Service Rd W ~ 1400 SERVICE Position Role Type: Onsite Collins aerospace is looking to hire Machine Operator - Shotpeen ; you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the robotic shot peening process as required. Work Shift: Weekend Night (Friday-Sunday) 6:00 pm - 6:00 am) What You Will Do Setup equipment by loading and unloading of robotic shotpeen work centers. Follow part process techniques, operation sketches and special handler instructions, to include, but not limited to loading/unloading of shot peen machines and airflow, intensity and pressure techniques Work alongside Process Technicians to optimize machines and produce quality parts. Monitor and optimize efficiencies of the automated line Read OP sketches and work instructions to identify with requirements Minimize and mitigate machine downtime through the use of the ANDON system Maintain acceptable production, quality levels, and departmental equipment, as well as practice safety in the workplace and maintain good housekeeping Support and promote continuous improvement, 5S activities and Standard Work Development in the cell Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications You Must Have High school diploma, with a minimum of one year of relevant manufacturing experience. Strong PC skills and understanding of written work instructions. Demonstrated experience in material handling and hoist operations required The selected candidate has to be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP Qualifications We Prefer Demonstrated ability to operate and use an overhead crane in a safe manner. The salary range for this role is 61,334 CAD - 77,738 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
