Procurement Manager

Job description

## **About Andercore** Andercore is the AI-native supplier of industrial materials and goods for energy and infrastructure. We execute trade and distribution end-to-end, on our own account, at the speed of compute - and we are becoming the supplier of record for the entire industry. Industrial procurement is a €900B market in Europe alone and the largest manual market on earth. 95% of customers have no direct access to global supply chains. Materials pass through four or five intermediaries before they reach a site, and 40% of the margin evaporates on the way. For decades, the operating system of this industry was people: people to source, negotiate, finance, ship, and sell. We built the alternative from scratch. We are the supplier. We buy from global sources and sell to European customers on our own account. Our AI runs the full trade: sourcing, quality, pricing, sales, logistics, credit, and financing. One request. A firm quote in minutes. Delivered on time. For the customer, it feels like buying from their preferred local supplier. No warehouses. No fleet. No inventory risk. Every trade is pre-sold before it is bought. We are also the credit counterparty. Customers are scored and insured in minutes and get up to 60 days of payment terms priced into the quote itself. The working capital behind every trade is bank-funded, not equity-funded. Where we are today: - Strong triple-digit-million euro turnover run rate, the majority of it from repeat customers - Seven European markets live, sourced from suppliers across Asia and beyond - 80+ people across Berlin (HQ), London, and Shanghai - $90M raised in equity and debt, including our $40M Series B, from Atomico, Project A, Target Global, and Inven Capital - with working capital facilities from UniCredit and KfW The margin is in the bits. The moat is in the atoms. We are building the supplier of record for industrial materials - and redefining how global trade works in one of the largest and most essential industries on earth. ## What You Will Do - Identify, engage, and acquire suppliers across Europe and worldwide. - Lead negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and contracts of €1M+ procurement spend. - Build strong commercial relationships that fuel company growth and ensure reliable supply. - Develop and execute strategic plans to drive operational growth and efficiency, aligning with the company's global objectives. - Collaborate with Sales and operational teams to solve issues and improve operational processes that leverage automation and data. - Analyze performance data, track key KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. - Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing structures, and adjust strategy accordingly. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Support long-term sourcing plans and risk mitigation strategies. - Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality, delivery, or compliance concerns. ## Who You Are - You are experienced in procurement sourcing and supply chain contracting, and eager to take on responsibility in a fast-scaling, tech-driven environment. - You have strong analytical and negotiation skills, and can clearly articulate complex subjects with confidence and precision. - You bring a hands-on mentality — you take ownership, solve problems independently, and thrive in dynamic settings. - You are motivated by technology-driven transformation and curious about how AI can reshape global supply chains. - German or/and Italian fluently and strong verbal and written communication skills in English. ## What's In It for You - Real ownership from day one — shape operational processes in a fast-scaling, AI-first company. - Learn from the best — work directly with senior operators. - Competitive compensation — attractive base salary and performance-based bonus program. - Personal growth & visibility — rapid learning opportunities, cross-functional exposure, and early leadership potential in a growing global team. - Vibrant company culture — modern Berlin office, monthly All-Hands, team events, and regular offsites. ## Why Join Us! You'll be joining a company that's not only transforming a global industry but doing so with the speed, precision, and intelligence of AI. Here, you won't just manage supply chains — you'll help redefine how global commerce operates. We are an equal-opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or any other characteristic. We believe that diversity drives innovation, creativity, and collective strength.
