Product Designer | NordVPN Web | Mid-Senior

Job description

## **The world’s most advanced VPN, and a whole lot more.** If you’re a curious problem-solver who carves their own path, join the team behind Threat Protection Pro, the NordLynx protocol, and the fastest VPN on the planet—tools that put privacy, security, and control back in people’s hands. **Your impact?** Helping millions take back control of their online security, privacy, and data. The Design Team is a dynamic, multidisciplinary group of Product designers, UX/UI designers, UX researchers, UX writers, and Graphic designers. We're building the future of digital freedom across our cybersecurity suite products, such as NordVPN, NordPass, Saily & Coveron. We are helping millions of users own their online lives. We aim to simplify the complex world of cybersecurity for everyone. We thrive on honest feedback to help each other grow and believe in the freedom to take initiative, be bold, and run with new ideas. We're looking for a Product Designer to own the experience where users control their relationship with our products — the User Control Panel (UCP) and account management platform. ## **Main Responsibilities** - **Own your surface end to end.** Core account lifecycle experience is yours. On occasion, you'll also shape internal tools or Support Center flows where they touch the core account experience. From raw insight or vague ticket to a clear problem statement, explored directions, and a shipped, measured solution. - **Push the problem, not just the pixels.** You'll surface assumptions early with your PO and engineers, challenge briefs when the evidence points elsewhere, and sometimes make the call that the best design is removing a flow entirely. - **Craft with the system**. Apply our design system without losing intent and help it grow. When you spot a gap, you propose the component, not the workaround. - **Ship, don't just design.** Back your decisions with evidence while partnering with UX Research or running validation yourself. Stay close to engineers through the build and own Design QA so what ships is what you intended. - **Collaborate like it's one team**. You'll work daily with POs and engineers, and partner with UX writers and researchers where their craft matters most — because on account surfaces, the right words carry as much weight as the right flow. ## **Core Requirements** - **Proven product design experience.** 3+ years designing web products end to end; experience with account, subscription, or platform surfaces is a strong plus. - **Fluent in systems, sensitive to detail**. Design systems are your default starting point, and the small things — states, edge cases, microcopy — don't escape you. - **Comfortable in ambiguity**. Unclear inputs don't stall you; they're where you do your best shaping. - **Curious about the business side.** Retention, trust, and self-service metrics aren't someone else's job — they inform how you design. - **Clear communication**. Plain language, direct feedback, no ego — you raise the quality of every conversation you're in. Fluent in English. ## **What We Offer** - **Sharpen your edge:** training, mentorship, and room to grow — always. - **Take the time you need:** extra vacation days, sick days, and time off when life calls. - **Get premium healthcare:** private health insurance in Lithuania and Poland — fully covered. - **Protect your peace:** enjoy free subscriptions to Calm, Headspace, and Mindletic, and our own resilience and mindfulness trainings. - **Own your fitness:** in-house gyms, sport cards, online workouts, and personal guidance — on us. - **Pack your bags for workation:** experience our company-wide trip abroad to the fullest. - **Work from anywhere:** work from wherever keeps you in the zone. - **Celebrate your milestones:** birthdays, weddings, and new family members — all deserve a gift. - **Parent with ease:** children’s summer camps and flexibility around the schedule — because parenting never pauses. - **Join the party:** team building and company events people talk about for months. - **Unlock Cyber City:** coffee bar, open gyms, kids’ room, music room, massage chairs — our Vilnius HQ is yours to enjoy. *Kindly refer to our* [*Privacy Notice for Recruitment Candidates*](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1b2tV684_SYV1jQ4kuf91cnzrRBk3ef-5/view) *for comprehensive information regarding our data handling procedures throughout recruitment processes.* *We expect all candidates to provide accurate and complete information during the recruitment process.
